1. Introduction Judged ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Judged app.

2. Information We Collect

Device Identifier We generate a unique device ID stored locally on your device. This ID is used to track your daily usage limits and judgement history. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account.

Photos and Images When you submit a photo to be judged, that image is transmitted to our servers and processed by third-party AI services. Images may be stored in our cloud storage to display your results.

Usage Data We track the number of judgements made per device per day to enforce free-tier limits.

Leaderboard Data If you voluntarily submit a score to the leaderboard, your chosen display name and score are stored and publicly visible within the app.

Subscription Data If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your subscription status via RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Judged service
  • To enforce daily usage limits
  • To generate AI-powered judgements of your photos
  • To display your history and leaderboard rankings
  • To process and verify subscription purchases

4. Third-Party Services Your data may be shared with the following third parties:

  • Supabase — cloud database and file storage
  • OpenAI — AI processing of your photos for judgements and content moderation
  • RevenueCat — subscription management
  • Creatomate — video and image score card rendering

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

5. Data Retention Photos and judgement data are retained on our servers until you request deletion. Local data can be cleared at any time via the History tab in the app.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion To request deletion of your server-side data, contact us at pact@reply.protectorsofanimalcrueltythreats.com with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days. You can also clear local cached data via History → Delete My Data.

7. Children's Privacy Judged is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
